It's that time of year again, folks! Time to recap my art for 2013~!

9 deviations for this month, and one of them was the little animated Icon that earned me a Daily Deviation. :D At the beginning of the year I tried uploading something every week, but that quickly ran out. I ended up putting four things that I had made years ago for friends as gift art, but I still like them. I chose "You'll Burn Your Eye Out" because I loved how the sparkles on the sparkler came out. 

3 deviations this month. One was one old drawing I did years ago for a friend, and the other was about my fan trolls. I liked "Peponi" the most because of the pose and the music that inspired me to draw it. I can't believe I still haven't gotten around to coloring this. I guess I should hurry up and start the story as well...

2 deviations this month, and one was an old drawing. This one was better anyway because of the colors and detail. Gunnerkrigg Court is an awesome webcomic and I recomend it to everyone who is looking for a good complex (though not as complex as homestuck) story to read.

1 deviation this month. Hahahahahahah. I love my fantrolls. I think about them a lot. I'll try to draw out how they met someday. The story in my mind is pretty cute (at least to me)

5 deviations this month. "Gold" was a short looping walking animation I did for my friend's birhtday. It obviously had the most effort put into it out of all my deviations this month.

16 DEVATIONS THIS MONTH. I'm really surprised that this was my busiest month, seeing as I didn't even have my laptop for most of it. In fact, most of these sixteen deviations were cheap comic strips telling how I was coping with the loss of my laptop while it was gone for repairs. I chose "I Should Be Writing A Paper Right Now" because I love it's colors and simplicity.

11 deviations this month. Again, this piece had by far the most patience and detail put into it. I was hoping by posting the cover to my next story, I would be motivated to start and finish it. I guess it kind of worked, because at this time of publishing I have completely storyboarded the comic and began writing the diaglogue for all the pages into a spiral. It's something. :iconitssomethingplz:

2 deviations this month. I chose "Coming Home" again for the music and because I was trying new things in SAI, as apposed to the one I made in flash which I already am familiar and comfortable with.

4 deviations this month. I felt as if I was in an art slump. Sure, my other devaitions had more color in them, but I felt that out of all four, "That Unusual Blend" came out closest to how I wanted it to. Also, I really really love my fan trolls.

October
No deviations this month! :noes: I wanted to make monthly art for friends, but my old laptop died again and I had to use a spare. I didn't feel like downloading all these art programs again since I was going to get a new computer anyway, so I missed out on this month.

8 deviations this month. YEEAAAH, I got into the spirit for my next story and started working on it. I made a website and everything and hope to start it sometime next year~! (It may seem a little strange, but I am purposely holding off officially starting it until all the holidays pass that way when it becomes super famous, people won't have to worry about making anniversery/birthday art for the story as well as regular holiday art. Yep. That is my reasoning for not starting until after febuary right there.)

4 so far, plus at least two more for christmas gift art. I wood burned a clock for my mom with orchids and a hummingbird. One of the reasons I took pictures of this clock is because I'm an impatient person and I wanted a picture of art I was proud of for the month of december for this meme without spoiling gift art for friends or having to wait after christmas. 

Along with all these deviations, I also had 10 scraps, which means I had a total of... 75 deviations this year. Woo~ that's 28 more than last year (although I feel that last year was more colorful and had more variety.) Let's see if I can get over 100 deviations posted next year~
